·       All booking fees are non-refundable – these booking fees not only secure your time slot, but they cover administration costs to respond to any emails, quote, overheads associated with running an independent studio, and creative design time (Kristin spends time thinking about concepts long before she physically starts drawing). 
·       There is a minimum booking fee of $100, regardless of the total estimate of your tattoo.
·       All booking fees *must* be paid within 7 days of your request being accepted/scheduled.
·       Kristin Pie Tattoo reserves the right to refuse service, it is of the utmost importance that we maintain our integrity by providing a high standard of art, a clean environment, and safe practice. We reserve the right to decline any clients who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, or underage.
·       We reserve the right to refer you to another artist if your concept does not fit with Kristin’s style, scope or capabilities, we do not operate a ‘first in first serve’ studio.
·       We require you to sign a declaration confirming that you are safe to be tattooed (free from illnesses such as HIV, Hepatitis C etc that are easily transmitted through bodily fluids), that you are not being tattooed under duress, and that you understand the permanence of a tattoo. If you sign this agreement and have been found to falsify information, we reserve the right to take legal action.
·       We do not accept walk-ins.
·       Kristin will not tattoo your partner’s name on you.
·       Due to the style of Kristin’s art, *all* cover-up’s must be lightened with laser to an acceptable standard, which will be confirmed through a consult, prior to booking your appointment. We highly recommend Sacred Laser in Auckland for a professional experience and the best laser technology available in NZ.
·       We reserve the right to decline touch-ups on other artist’s work. If you are unhappy with the quality, healing, or aging of a tattoo done by another artist, we strongly suggest approaching the studio where you had it done. 
·       We do not share designs any earlier than the day before your scheduled appointment. This is a system set up to ensure a balanced workload for Kristin, and also prevent any clients taking the design to another artist for a reduced price etc.
·       Rescheduling – you may reschedule your appointment once, up to 48 hours prior to your booked time slot and your booking fee will be transferred to the new date. Rescheduling less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in forfeit of your booking fee, we will still be able to reschedule you, but will require a new booking fee to secure your new date. 
·       If you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment, a new booking will need to be made and a new booking fee. 
·       Design: When making a booking, please ensure you are familiar with the style of Kristin’s work. We need as much info as you can give us to ensure Kristin can draw something that you love. Some time is allocated for any minor changes on the day, however and major changes that have not been previously communicated will require a rescheduled appointment, and a new booking fee to secure your new date.
·       We do not offer a payment plan, Laybuy, Afterpay  - Please transfer the booking fee ONLY via bank transfer, and bring cash with you on the day for the balance. We are working on getting Eftpos and will update this accordingly when it becomes available in store.
·       Kristin will not compromise her integrity as an artist by creating exact replicas of other artists work. It is *your* responsibility to understand, view, and choose Kristin as an artist, and you have seen enough of her work to know her style and want it on your body. Kristin will also not 'finish' other artists work, or work on singular pieces with multiple artists. Even if two artists both specialise in 'fine-line' the difference in technique, machines used, needles and ink and human uniqueness mean that even though it is the same genre of tattoo, it *will* look different, it will *not* look cohesive, and we recommend choosing one artist to ensure the quality of the piece is the best available and most suitable.
·       We do not advise the use of numbing creams, without proper supervision and application, these can interact with the ink, integrity of the skin for Kristin to tattoo and can impact the quality of healing of your tattoo. By agreeing to the terms set out, you acknowledge that you will disclose your intention to use numbing cream or if you have applied it prior to your appointment. We will not accept any responsibility should you withhold this information and any reactions or interactions happen, or if you are not happy with the quality of your healed tattoo. If you disclose you have used numbing cream, we can do a spot test, however the if there is a reaction, this will result in loss of your booking fee and a new booking with a new booking fee will need to be paid should you wish to proceed with your tattoo. We reserve the right to decline to tattoo you if you turn up to your appointment and advise us you have used numbing cream. This will be based on an assessment of your skin.
·       Initial quotes are subject to change, these prices ranges are indicative only and may change once Kristin has assessed the design and placement. Any changes made on the day may incur a variation in these price estimates (i.e. if you give a size and Kristin draws it to that size, but you make it significantly smaller or bigger on the day, please expect to pay more than what your were estimated as it will take longer to tattoo either bigger due to more area to cover, or smaller, as it takes longer to do detail and shading the smaller you go, and therefore more time-consuming to ensure consistency and quality of the work)
·       We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
·       Booking fees may either be an appropriate portion of your estimated price or calculated at a rate of $50 per hour booked for longer sessions. Booking fees are set at the discretion of Kristin Pie Tattoo.
·       Designs may be charged at either a set fee for a piece or on an hourly basis of $160 per hour, at the discretion of Kristin Pie Tattoo.
·       The booking fee will be deducted from your estimate - i.e. if you have been quoted $500 with a booking fee of $150, you will need to bring $350 cash on the day of your appt.
·       Very rarely is a drawing done by yourself, a friend or family member either on paper or digitally able to translate successfully to a tattoo. We reserve the right to decline requests for exact replicas of artwork that you have drawn or been gifted. Kristin is able to create you an original, custom piece using the artwork as direct inspiration.
·       Your price estimate will be given when you email to book, and will be confirmed by Kristin the week of your appointment when Kristin prepares her drawings.
·       We are currently not taking on any extension work, alterations or extensions to existing work by other artists. This is non negotiable, extensions to Kristin's own work may be considered, but only at Kristin's discretion, and only if you have previously discussed with Kristin about extending the piece in the future. Extensions will not be done to designs that have been drawn to be complete as it is.
