and need to be paid within 48 hours of the invoice being sent. These booking fees not only secure your time slot, but they cover administration costs to respond to any emails, quote, overheads, and creative design time (Kristin spends time thinking about concepts long before she physically starts drawing). By paying the deposit you agree that you have read and understood all our terms and conditions. This includes all terms and conditions about the nature of the deposit being non-refundable.
If you book in with a design and pay the booking fee and change your mind after securing a date for your original design, that you risk your new design may not be accepted and that this may incur a forfeit of your booking fee to cover the costs as mentioned above. Deposits are held for a maximum of 6 months if you need to reschedule.
You will see this on the day of your booking. This way you get the opportunity to talk directly with your artist when you come to your appointment; which is why we gather all the info beforehand about what you’re wanting. We find it more efficient to draw up a draft, then make small changes with you in the studio rather than having a back and forth before the day. This collaboration allows you and your artist to create a design you are happy with before you start.
Please inform us in advance if you have any major changes/adjustments to the concept you booked for. We will try to be as accommodating as possible however if you wait until the day of your appointment to let us know, rather than in advance, we may need to rebook you, additional fees may apply in this situation.
up to 7 days prior to your booked time slot and your booking fee will be transferred to the new date. Rescheduling less than 7 days before your appointment, or more than once will result in forfeit of your booking fee. We will still be able to reschedule you, but will require a new booking fee to secure your new date. Booking fees will be held for a maximum of 6 months. If you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment, a new booking will need to be made and a new booking fee.
It is of the utmost importance that we maintain our integrity by providing a high standard of art, a clean environment, and safe practice. We reserve the right to decline any clients who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, or underage. We reserve the right to refer you to another artist if your concept does not fit with Kristin’s style, scope or capabilities.
confirming that you are safe to be tattooed (free from illnesses such as HIV, Hepatitis C etc that are easily transmitted through bodily fluids), that you are not being tattooed under duress, and that you understand the permanence of a tattoo. If you sign this agreement and have been found to falsify information, we reserve the right to take legal action.
This will be free of charge (at Kristin's descretion) for 6 months after your original tattoo appointment. Touch ups are only available after a minimum of 6 weeks healed. There may be a fee if the tattoo is older than a year.
We also reserve the right to decline touch ups of other artist’s work. If you are unhappy with the quality, healing, or aging of a tattoo done by another artist, we strongly suggest approaching the studio where you had it done.
without proper supervision and application, these can interact with the ink, integrity of the skin for Kristin to tattoo and can impact the quality of healing of your tattoo. Should you wish to still use numbing creams or spray - we will of course support you in your right to do so, what we do ask is that you bring the cream/spray with you and that we will apply it - this ensures that we are in control that it is applied to the correct area, that it is evenly applied, and that we have control over how long it is on the skin prior to the start of your tattoo, we are also able to monitor for any reactions or interactions and can assess the integrity of your skin. This will be included in your tattooing time (which may add anywhere between 30 - 50 minutes as we wait for the cream to do it’s thing) and we ask that you tell us with your initial inquiry so that we may book the correct amount of time for your appointment. If you do arrive at your appointment, and either advise us that you have already applied a numbing agent prior to arrival, or decline to tell us that you have applied prior to arrival (Kristin can tell by the texture of your skin), we reserve the right to offer a reschedule and to decline to proceed with your appointment. This will forfeit your booking fee and a new booking fee will be required for your new appointment.
By agreeing to the terms set out, you acknowledge that you will disclose your intention to use numbing cream when you send through an initial inquiry.​ We will do our best to set the tattoo up for the best healing possible, however if numbing agents are used, we unfortunately will not be offering a free touch up with your tattoo. We will not accept any responsibility should you withhold this information and any reactions or interactions happen, or if you are not happy with the quality of your healed tattoo.
these may change once Kristin has assessed the design and placement. Any changes made on the day may incur a variation in these price estimates (i.e. if you give a size and Kristin draws it to that size, but you make it significantly smaller or bigger on the day, please expect to pay more than what your were estimated as it will take longer to tattoo either bigger due to more area to cover, or smaller, as it takes longer to do detail and shading the smaller you go, and therefore more time-consuming to ensure consistency and quality of the work). Your price estimate will be given when you email to book, and will be confirmed by Kristin the week of your appointment when Kristin prepares her drawings.
will be quoted as a whole piece, for larger scale pieces you will be advised if you will need multiple sessions and this will be included in your quote. For any sittings that extend beyond their allocated time that is not due to Kristins speed or technique (For example a client that may need to take longer breaks which extends the allocated tattoo session) an additional fee may be required to complete the tattoo on a second session to cover set up and additional time.
this is as we unfortunately have had so many cancellations/no shows that we need to preserve and protect our time and scheduling.
any voucher previously purchased will still be honoured.
